That game would get old very fast. It is funny how they can find these "games" that seem so cute at first but eventually drive Mom to complete insanity!

Oh dear! My current kitties are all indoor kitties so they don't (hopefully) have much opportunity for hunting. I did have a cat once who went out and used to bring home mice that he sawed in half so that we could "share." My half was placed on MY side of the double bed!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. It is nice to find another TV-free parent in the world! Please come back and comment. It would be great to get your perspective too!

I grew up with a cat like this! I remember letting her into the house and her dropping a bird on the floor, only the bird wasn't dead, so it just started to fly and bleed all over our family room! And on Easter, she killed a bunny and my sister was screaming, "Fluffy killed the Easter Bunny", as my father dutifully got out the shovel to hide its remains. . .I was so used to seeing the little guts of mice on our front step.

Needless to say, when I got two cats of my own, I made them indoor cats, although I lived in the woods once for a few years and was happy that my male cat knew how to hunt mice! One memorable night, I shut him in the bathroom with a mouse and let him play with it to death.

Yeah, it is too much.

Welcome back! Cute radish---it looks pink! I always thought radishes were red, but that gives you an idea of how often I encounter them.

Sorry about the problems with your ex. That cannot be easy to deal with at all.

That's a good idea - I'll give it a try. The one today that left me stumped was "Mama, what are my pants thinking?" Um? How should I know? For so many reasons!

Oh, your lilacs are in bloom already?!?! I've just got teeny tiny buds. I'm jealous.

Your daughter has a great imagination but I can imagine that it'd get tiring after a while. Maybe you could open the gift, shake your head and tell her she needs to go into the other room and process a return for some other item. Or, tell her she needs to spent 1/2 hour assembling it for you.
